1. Overview
This policy explains what Shotzy Pic ("Shotzy Pic") collects, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.
2. Information we collect
Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), profile photo, and whether you sign in with Apple.
Booking details: locations you pick, notes and "how to find us" details (such as what you're wearing and an optional photo), chat messages, photos and video from your shoot, ratings and reviews.
Payments: Stripe processes your card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link details. We receive limited information such as card brand, last 4 digits and payment status, not your full card number.
Photographers: ID documents for verification, portfolio shots, payout details handled by Stripe Connect, and earnings records.
3. Location
We use your location to show nearby photographers and, during an active booking, to share your live location with the other person on that booking. Live location sharing only happens while a booking is active. You can deny location access, but some features won't work without it.
4. ID documents
Photographer ID documents are stored privately, used only to verify identity and keep the platform safe, and never shown to customers. Only authorized staff can access them. They're deleted when the account is deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them.
5. How we use information
To run bookings, payments, payouts and refunds; to help you find each other at a meet-up; to send in-app notifications; to prevent fraud and keep people safe; to provide support; and to improve the service.
6. Sharing
With the other person on your booking (for example, name, profile photo, live location during the booking, and photos). With service providers who help us run Shotzy Pic, such as Stripe (payments), cloud hosting and storage, and Apple (Sign in with Apple). When the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
7. Photos and video
Photos and video from a booking are visible to the customer and the photographer on that booking. They're only shown publicly if the customer shares an album, or if they're a photographer's own portfolio shots.
8. Retention and account deletion
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, profile photo, "how to find us" photos, portfolio, ID documents, notifications and the photos and video delivered to you, and we disconnect Sign in with Apple. Chat messages you sent are anonymized. Completed booking and payment records are kept in anonymized form for accounting and legal reasons.
9. Your choices and rights
You can update your profile, remove saved payment methods, turn off location access in your device settings, and delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have extra rights to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us to make a request.
10. Children
Shotzy Pic isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
11. Security
We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and private storage for sensitive files. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
